HOME RENOVATION IN LAS ARENAS, GETXO
HOME RENOVATION IN LAS ARENAS, GETXO
In this single-family home, we modified the distribution to obtain spaciousness and take advantage of natural light. With this change, we were able to create the space necessary to install an elevator that makes it easier to go to the upper floors.
We moved the staircase to use the space and completely renew it. We use natural oak wood in a matte finish and chose the railing with black metallic touches, which combine with the wall lights. We protected the walls with rich cabinetry work in lacquered wood paneling and moldings.
In the living room, classic and modern go hand in hand. A more classic base, accompanied by special designer pieces. The white walls bring light and clarity to the room. We designed bookcases, television cabinets and cupboards to obtain a lot of storage with a very clean visual effect that is well integrated into the living room. We opted for sofas from the firm Joquer and lamps from Artemide and Luis Pulsen.
For the kitchen, we designed a custom glass door. It allows light to pass through and isolates noise and odors. In addition, we created a dining area next to the window, where we placed a custom-made extendable table. For the countertop, we selected a Dekton model and, on the floor, a wonderful result with Florim Ceramiche. In this case, we installed a Velux lighting track.
The bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the rooms with light. In the children’s bedroom, intended for the grandchildren of the house, we designed custom bunk beds in lacquered wood and oak, with upholstered headboards.
The floor is carpeted, and we designed a custom dresser to reinforce storage. On the walls, we used decorative niches from Orac Decor and wallpaper from the Elitis brand. The wardrobe belonged to the family, and we recovered it expressly.
The decoration of this home is thought out down to the last detail. An example of this is a bathroom in which we selected a rope wall light, which gives light to the oak wood mirror, matching the furniture. We put the countertop in resin, which wonderfully resists humidity. And, on the most vulnerable walls, we opted for braided tiles, which provide the warmth of natural materials, but with the properties of porcelain.
A comprehensive renovation for a home in Getxo, with detail in decoration. A renovated traditional style that brings a lot of personality to the home.
